The Case of the Missing $5,000,000 Toy Car By: Andrew H. M. One day after his awesome birthday, little Robby Benson, a very rich child in Frankenstein, MO, was in his gargantuan mansion playing happily with his new $5,000,000 toy car. Then Timmy, the great toy stealer, appeared suddenly and threw a metal glove at Robby. When Robby finally recovered from the surprise, his $5,000,000 toy car had mysteriously disappeared! He immediately told his parents that the car was there one second, gone the next. So his parents called Det. Norm Grant, and he was there immediately. He closely inspected the crime scene and found the metal glove. Then he picked it up, and a pair of round glasses fell out of the metal glove. Norm picked them up with latex gloves and found smudgy fingerprints on them. He did some testing on them, and the smudgy fingerprints were Timmy’s! So Norm went back to the crime scene and found a plane ticket to Dallas- Fort Worth. So Norm went to Dallas-Fort Worth, and he found out that Timmy had not been there. The plane ticket had been a red herring! Then Norm went back to JacksonCity. Then in a small rest stop he found Timmy’s credit card! Then Norm asked the store clerk if he had bought anything. The clerk said that he had bought a map of Missouri. Norm then assumed that Timmy went south. Then Norm found a ripped piece of a Missouri map on the side of the small gravel road with West Plains marked on it. So Norm went to West Plains and caught Timmy just before he sold the toy car for $10,000,000, 2x its original price of $5,000,000. Then the toy car was returned safely to Robby, and Timmy went to jail for the 60th time. The End
